All our tutors, myself included, are busy working on workshop samples for next semester.

One of my most highly requested workshops is my polymer clay mokume gane and I’ve been loving creating some new veneers and projects.

It’s looking like we are going to have about 35 workshops on offer to start with, plus our ‘on demand’ and Christmas sessions which we plan as demand calls for them. So we could potentially have even more!

Why not come and join Leanne in the studio this Friday for her last ‘Colour Burst’ workshops?

The best bit?
You don’t need any previous skills at all to attend. Complete beginners are encouraged and welcomed!

You will use a variety of mediums during the course of the day and can create several pieces of art to frame or turn into cards, bookmarks etc. all in the colours of your choice.
Leanne will also show you how to annotate and use mark marking to enhance your pieces if you wish.

The NEW Sculpey Premo Light Lime has arrived at the studio and is now available online.

Honestly, it’s (in my opinion) another strange choice of colour to release and I’m not quite sure it where it will fit in my designs but I’ll give it a go next time I’m at my desk. It’s almost like a yellow with a hint of green hues.

I taught a wonderful group of polymer clay newbies

I taught a wonderful group of polymer clay newbies (and a few ‘not so’ newbies wanting to expand their skills) in today’s Polymer 101 Workshop where we focused on faux ceramic pieces.

We covered so many bead making techniques, multiple colouring processes, finishing, jewellery making and a whole lot more!
