Polymer Clay Play | Creative Kids School Holiday Workshop (1st October)

Do your children love to create? Maybe they enjoy imaginative play or learning new things?

In this ‘Creative Kids’ polymer clay session, students will have several projects/ideas demonstrated to them and can then choose what they wish to create.
There is no set project so that each participant can create what they wish to.
If your child struggles with this and would prefer to create something step-by-step, Dani will be on hand to help them with this.

Each will be an individual, unique creation so they may not look like those pictured, but will be a reflection of your child’s imagination!

Date & Time:
Tuesday 1st October
2.00pm to 3.30pm*
The studio will be open 15 minutes before the start time.

This workshop can also be booked on demand (on a date/time of your choosing) with a minimum of 6 people.
Bring your friends and have some creative fun!
Just get in touch and we’ll organise a day that suits.

*Please note, you will be required to pick up your child’s pieces later that afternoon (or at a later date) if you would like them baked, due to time constraints. Alternatively, we can send you home with instructions to bake your child’s pieces in your home oven 🙂

Tutor:
Dani from The Whimsical Bead.
Dani is the owner of The Whimsical Bead and has been creating with polymer clay for 20 years and that, along with metal, is where her passion lies.
Dani previously worked in the Early Childhood industry for 16 years and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a current Working with Children Check. She has First Aid certification as well as training in anaphylaxis and asthma management.
She loves nurturing kids’ inner creativity and encouraging them to make a mess whilst exploring it!

Skill Level:
This workshop is suitable for children aged 4+
Parents/guardians are welcome to book a place if they would like to sit and create with their children.

Cost:
$49 all inclusive.

Once you have booked in, you will receive a manual ‘Confirmation of Booking’ email approximately a week before the workshop which will include a booking reminder plus all the information you need for this workshop (you may need to check your spam or promotions folder as sometimes they end up in there!).

Extra Information Regarding COVID/Illness:
We ask that you remember that we are a home based business run by someone with chronic illnesses. Many of our visitors are also immune compromised. Please do not visit the studio if you are unwell. Thank you for your understanding.

Here’s what makes us different from other creative spaces.

•  All our Tutors are experienced in teaching and have many years of experience working with their respective mediums/in their field of expertise – for most of our tutors this is over 15 years experience.
• Our workshop sizes are always small with no more than 10 – 12 students.
• We provide a friendly, inviting space and cater for many challenges you may face  (health issues, food intolerances, anxiety, etc, etc.). Many of our students (and some of our tutors) suffer from chronic illness and have special needs. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to Dani who will do her best to help you out;
• We use only high quality materials/products in our workshops and myself and our Tutors are familiar with how these work and can give you accurate information/answers to your questions;
• Students are able to browse our 1500+ products and purchase if they wish to either before, during or after their workshop;
• We offer payment plan options on most workshops as we understand that finances can be tight (please email if you’d like to take advantage of this);
• We are fully insured and there is always someone on site who has a Level 2 first aid qualification and asthma management training. All tutors who are working with children have current, valid Working with Children Checks.
• We offer ‘after workshop’ support for all our students. Students can ask questions of our tutors and refresh any information they need to after the workshop via email, phone or in our Facebook group especially for students.
