With Bead and Buy , a public holiday long weekend and us finalising the new workshop schedule for semester 2, we’ve been pretty busy so June was a relatively quiet month for workshops.
The ones we held were good ones though and very popular.
Without a doubt the most popular workshop this month was our Maille Mania : Focus on Chainmaille Bezels workshop.
This was an intermediate workshop and booked out last year within only a few days of us listing it.
Each student managed to finish their piece in class which was a fabulous achievement and a few even managed to start another one.
If you are interested in this workshop, please let us know as we may hold it again in early 2018. Look out for our new Maille Classes in Semester 2.
Here’s a little sneak peek of the finished pieces from the bezel workshop.
The other full day workshop held this month was Photography 101.
In this workshop students learned all about their cameras and phones and how to get the best from them. They also covered topics such as setting up a lightbox and a little bit of editing.
I didn’t take any photos during this workshop as everyone was so busy!
If you’re interested in Photography, our next workshop is Photography on Location. This will again be taught by Nick and will be a small sized class.
