Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin with a beautiful golden hue. Metal clay is composed of metal particles mixed with an organic binder and water, which allows the user to mold it and use it in a way that is similar to ceramic clay. We will be using the Aussie Metal Clay brand of clay in the class due to its availability, ease of use and affordability.

During the class you will learn how to mix and form your clay, then refine it and kiln-fire it.
In the afternoon we will experiment with alternative firing methods and you will learn to polish your pieces ready to go home at the end of the class.
