The Whimsical Bead 10th Birthday Celebrations Competition Results

2016 is a very special year for The Whimsical Bead as it marks 10 years of us being in business.
Whilst it’s been a few months since this special event, the wonderful pieces that were submitted as part of our 10th Birthday Celebrations Competition are very much still cemented in my mind and I’m long overdue in sharing them with you.

Our 10th Birthday Celebrations Competition challenged participants to create a piece of wearable or non – wearable art from any one or combination of media, including, but not limited to, Polymer Clay, Seed Beads, Chainmaille, Metal, Metal Clay.
It is a celebration of all creative media! Thanks to Debbie Crothers & Christi Friesen for their assistance in judging! I was blown away by the entries. They were all so unique and there was clearly a lot of work put into each and every one.
So, without further ado……(drumroll please!), the winners are……..

First Place – Kay Lancashire with ‘Voyager’
