If you’ve been following closely this week you would know that I am currently scheduling our workshops for the remainder of the year. We’ve got so much on offer that it’s always tricky to fit it all in (plus we often have to do multiple sessions so people don’t miss out).

I’ve had some of you express interest in weekday workshops and I would love to make this happen!
What I need to know is

• If you’re interested in studio workshops can you do weekdays?
• If the answer is yes, what day/s would suit you best?
• Do you need workshops to take place during school hours or can you do a full day?

I’d really love your feedback so don’t be shy - either comment below or send me a message and let me know. It will help me to ensure we can cater to as many of you as possible.

Today Leanne and I got together to do some workshop preparation.
I always love working with this talented lady…..and having a good chat and laugh and today was no different (except that we achieved quite a lot on the ‘work’ side of things rather than just the chat and laughs!!).
Alana unfortunately couldn’t make it but she’s got some great projects planned too.

This year The Whimsical Bead turns 16! We missed

This year The Whimsical Bead turns 16!
We missed out on celebrating our 15th birthday due to COVID and it was suggested that I should have a Sweet 16 celebration instead.
So, this is exactly what we are doing and as part of these celebrations we are hosting a ‘BLING YOUR BAG’ Competition!

Your Task:
Remember that blank canvas bag you recently received from us when you made a purchase at the studio? Well, pull it out as this competition challenges you to show us your creativity by decorating your blank Whimsical Bead tote bag**

First Prize - $150 TWB Gift Voucher
Second Prize - $75 TWB Gift Voucher
Third Prize - $50 TWB Gift Voucher
Plus we will have some bonus prizes too!

To Enter:
Send up to 5 x high resolution photos of your finished Tote Bag to dani@thewhimsicalbead.com.au
OR
Bring your finished tote bag to The Whimsical Bead studio before the 12th September and we will judge in person (these will be returned to you after judging).
Please attached your name, phone and email address to your entry.
Entries close Monday 12th September 2022. No late entries can be accepted.

Your entries will be judged by Dani and Leanne. Each entry will be judged on (but not limited to)
* Technique;
* Originality/Uniqueness;
* Overall Impact;

Decision is final. Winners will be contacted via email by 30th September 2022 and announced via social media and in our newsletter at a later date.

I hope your week is off to a great start.
Here’s another colour recipe for you. I’ve been trying to create recipes from the colours we have in stock - there’s nothing worse than wanting try things out and not being able to get the supplies you need!

1 part Premo Forest Green
2 parts Premo Wasabi

This green is very close the Premo Green but without the translucency that the normal green has. It’s a beautiful green - you always seems to come up with great names so I’m going to leave it to you to name this shade!
