Textured Polymer Clay Earrings | Mini Workshop

This brand new, fun workshop is the perfect introduction to polymer clay, a fabulous ‘Make & Take’ workshop or just the perfect excuse to come and have some polymer fun with us!

You will create several pairs of earrings and learn all about how to condition polymer clay, which brands are best, using textures and cutters, patina/highlights, what glue to use on polymer clay, drilling holes, how to construct your jewellery and so much more!

This is a mini workshop, so is a quick paced, fun session to get your polymer addiction started, add to your earring collection, have some fun with other like-minded clayers all whilst learning some fabulous new skills.

Examples shown are just that – examples. You will be encouraged to create your own designs and styles.

This class will run with a maximum of 10 students.

Tutor:
Dani from The Whimsical Bead and Dani Art & Jewellery
Dani is the owner/creator of The Whimsical Bead and has been creating with polymer clay for 13 years and that, along with metal, is where her passion lies.
Dani loves to teach and pass on her knowledge and she feels very lucky that people want to learn from her.

 

Skill Level:
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Beginners are more than welcome and encouraged.

Cost:

$65 plus a kit/materials fee of $10 (does not include polymer clay. This can be brought from home or purchase on the day).

Price includes tuition, notes, use of tools/equipment, morning and afternoon tea, tea/coffee.
Kit/materials fee includes findings pack, use of surface treatments, consumables etc.

 

 

All bookings require a deposit with the balance to be paid on the day.

Payment plans are available so please do not hesitate to contact us if you require this option.
Bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis however a deposit must be made before your booking is secure.

What to Bring:

  • Your Polymer Clay Tool Kit (or borrow one of ours) – acrylic roller, craft knife, tissue blade, needle tool etc.;
  • A dremel (if you have one or borrow ours);
  • Container to put your finished pieces in and any left over clay;
  • Your lunch (optionalif you would like to stay and have lunch with us before the next class starts, you are welcome to);
  • Notebook/Pen/Pencil if you would like to take notes.
