Polymer Clay ‘Electric’ Canes

$50.00 $120.00

A number of years ago, back in the early stages of her polymer clay journey, Dani purchased a tutorial from well-known, talented polymer artist, Melanie West.
This tutorial was named the Cephalopod Cane Tutorial (part 2) and she really loved it.
Once she started teaching, Dani had many enquiries asking her to teach this however as this is a cane that is specific to Melanie – one that she herself created – Dani declined.

Many years later, and after chatting with Melanie extensively, Melanie has offered for Dani to teach this cane at The Whimsical Bead studio.
Dani has a few tricks, tips and variations to the original cane and will show these to students also. You will also learn how to create a Skinner blend, create veneers plus more!

Whilst the focus will be on cane making, time permitting, we will also delve into creating some cabochons, earring/pendant pieces and Dani will demonstrate bead making too.
This will be a jam-packed exciting class that will only run once in 2019.

Colour choice will be up to each individual student.

You can find Melanie’s work under the name Raven’s Clay.

This class will run with a maximum of 10 students.
