Yes, she’s back to teach a few workshops in 2022, so get in whilst you can!!
Leanne has had a passion for creating art since she was old enough to hold a pencil.
With a career spanning several decades, she has found ways to express herself through several mediums, dabbling in watercolours, botanical illustration, pottery, mosaics patchwork and many other art forms.
Leanne studied Colour and Design at the Melbourne Studio of Art.
This workshop is for students of all skill levels including patient beginners however some experience with polymer clay is recommended.
$120 plus material & kit fee of $45 payable to The Whimsical Bead on the day.
Price includes tuition, use of tools/equipment, morning and afternoon tea, tea/coffee.
Material/Kit fee includes polymer clay, leafing, full bottle of quality UV resin (you can take the remainder home), jewellery findings, plus a few other bits and pieces!
All bookings require a deposit with the balance to be paid on the day.

What to Bring:
Almost everything you need is included in both the workshop and materials fees however if you’d like to, you can bring the following along;
- 1 -2 Acrylic blocks (small to medium in size). We will have a few to borrow on the day;
- Polymer Clay Tool Kit (if you’d prefer to use your own tools) ie. acrylic roller, tissue blade, craft knife, needle tool etc.;
- Cutters/templates, if you have a particular shape you’d like to use on the day to create your pendants/earrings;
- Baby wipes (for clean up);
- Container to bring your finished/unfinished pieces home in;
- Your lunch (or you can go into town on your lunch break);
- Your kit fee;
- Notebook/Pen/Pencil if you would like to take notes.

Once you have booked in, you will receive a manual ‘Confirmation of Booking’ email a week or two before the workshop which will include a booking reminder plus all the information you need for this workshop.
Extra Information Regarding COVID:
Please note, COVID safety measures will be in place on the day. These may vary from workshop to workshop according to current government regulations. You will be required to sign in (digitally via QR code preferred as per government guidelines), wear a fitted face mask indoors and hand sanitise your hands. There may be other safety measures in place on the day as directed by industry guidelines.
We ask that you remember that we are a home based business run by someone with chronic illnesses. Many of our visitors are also immune compromised. Please do not visit the studio if you are unwell in any way, have recently had a covid test and are awaiting the results or have been in contact with someone who has been unwell. If you arrive to the studio and are seen to have covid symptoms you may be asked to leave. We ask that you please respect our guidelines when entering the studio to keep yourself and everyone attending, safe.
