‘Ebru Art Christmas Ornaments’ Workshop

Learn to make your own colourful Christmas baubles and decorations created with the mesmerising art
form of marbling. If you love playing and experimenting with paints, are open to learn different creative
techniques then this workshop will definitely be a match for your creative soul.

You will not only have a fun and relaxing time but also make glamorous Christmas ornaments that will
shine on your tree and make it look gorgeous. Your hand marbled Christmas decorations will definitely
add to your joy and fill your room with Christmas spirit!
You can also share them as a gift with your loved ones.

Students will learn;

  • Brief history of ebru (marbling) art
  • Review of the tools and materials
  • Information about how to prepare the marbling “size” (viscous solution)
  • The technique and application process of the paints for creating unique designs on the size surface
  • Transferring marbled patterns on our Christmas themed objects


Students  will walk away with;

  • Six marbled Christmas baubles (3 of them ceramic)
  • Eight marbled Christmas ornaments
  • Ribbons to embellish your ornaments

Skill Level:
This workshop is suitable for students of all skill levels.


$165 all inclusive.
This includes tuition, use of tools and all materials you need.  It also includes morning tea, tea/coffee etc.
Your materials kit (included in the cost) includes 6 baubles and 8 unfinished craft wood ornaments, ribbons and ropes.


All bookings require a deposit with the balance to be paid on the day.

Payment plans are available so please do not hesitate to contact us if you require this option.
Bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis however payment must be made before your booking is secure.

What to Bring:
  • Please wear old clothes and shoes as this workshop can get a little messy….but oh so  fun!
  • Notebook/Pen/Pencil if you would like to take notes.

Extra Information Regarding COVID:


Please note, COVID safety measures will be in place on the day. These may vary from workshop to workshop according to current government regulations. You will be required to sign in (digitally via QR code preferred as per government guidelines) and hand sanitise your hands. There may be other safety measures in place on the day as directed by industry guidelines.
We ask that you remember that we are a home based business run by someone with chronic illnesses. Many of our visitors are also immune compromised. Please do not visit the studio if you are unwell in any way, have recently had a covid test and are awaiting the results or have been in contact with someone who has been unwell. If you arrive to the studio and are seen to have covid symptoms you may be asked to leave. We ask that you please respect our guidelines when entering the studio to keep yourself and everyone attending, safe.
