Christmas Closure Days and Opening Hours🎄🎄

I’ve been asked a lot this past week about if we are closing down over the Christmas New Year period and when we will be open in December so I thought I’d do a post to let you all know what’s going on.

As in previous years, I won’t be taking any official time off during the Christmas/New Year period other than the 25th, 26th and 27th of December.
Online orders can still be placed and will be start shipping on the 29th (due to the 28th Dec being a public holiday here in Victoria).

I’ve decided not to have too many official opening days in December as we were open almost every weekend in November and with the exception of a few days, I had far more people visit by appointment. I’ve had appointments most days which has been great! It also allows me to do postal runs etc.
So, that’s what I’ll be doing.

I’ll be open on Saturday 18th Dec from 10.30am until 3.30pm and most other days by appointment.

I was so lucky to receive some gorgeous gifts yesterday at our student Christmas party…..and then there was this one! 😆😄🤣

……only joking Cathy! I love it when people buy me gifts after listening to stories I’ve told. And we had a good laugh about it too which is always a bonus!

Today was another reminder of why I do what I do.

Today was another reminder of why I do what I do.
We had our student Christmas party today here at the studio and what a day it was.

We started the day with a tribute to Karen, our beautiful friend and tutor who passed away earlier this year. This was followed by games, laughs, presents and an amazing piñata handmade by my long time student/friend Peta (thanks so much Peta….the piñata was a hit!).

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate today. The community spirit here at the studio is so heartwarming and I didn’t realise how much I needed to be reminded of that until today.
Covid has meant that we haven’t been able to do what we do here at the studio for such a long time - bring people together through creativity - and I’m so glad there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel that we will be able to do more of this in the new year.

Thank you to everyone who brought me gifts today also. Not necessary but very much appreciated.
