Earlier this month (August 2014), I held my Woven Polymer clay workshop here at the studio for the first time. It was well received which was lovely and the students created some wonderful pieces - many with their own take on the technique.
Robyn and Julie Wilson from Deegan Designs are regulars here at The Whimsical Bead studio these days. We are holding metal workshops approximately every 8 weeks which I just love! Most of them I join in on as a student and I've made some wonderful pieces and learned some fabulous techniques.
It's not often that Cranberry Beads' Joanne Ivy teaches a workshop, but when she does you can guarantee that it will be booked out very quickly - and this was the case in her 'Royal Elegance' workshop held here at the studio in May 2014.
Is your creativity in holiday mode? Has your mojo taken an unwelcome break? This happens to the best of us - usually during the periods when we've actually got time to create! There's nothing worse than sitting down to design and make your next masterpiece only to be drawing a blank. Perhaps you need some inspiration to rediscover and invigorate your creativity?

This free tutorial is downloadable and can be adapted to a great variety of projects.
This fun and funky technique can also be used to create things other than earrings - learn the technique then create pendants, cabochons even veneers for covering items such as cuffs etc.
