With Bead and Buy , a public holiday long weekend and us finalising the new workshop schedule for semester 2, we've been pretty busy so June was a relatively quiet month for workshops.
The ones we held were good ones though and very popular.

Without a doubt the most popular workshop this month was our Maille Mania : Focus on Chainmaille Bezels workshop.
This was an intermediate workshop and booked out last year within only a few days of us listing it.
Each student managed to finish their piece in class which was a fabulous achievement and a few even managed to start another one.
If you are interested in this workshop, please let us know as we may hold it again in early 2018. Look out for our new Maille Classes in Semester 2.
Here's a little sneak peek of the finished pieces from the bezel workshop.

The other full day workshop held this month was Photography 101.
In this workshop students learned all about their cameras and phones and how to get the best from them. They also covered topics such as setting up a lightbox and a little bit of editing.
I didn't take any photos during this workshop as everyone was so busy!
If you're interested in Photography, our next workshop is Photography on Location. This will again be taught by Nick and will be a small sized class.

The pieces made in the Chainmaille Bezel Workshop were indeed amazingly appealing. Not being in the right head space on the day, I opted to work on something else, something which enabled me to stay in more familiar terrain - great that all TWB workshops embrace such versatility ?. I am very much looking forward to doing this workshop in 2018 when my life will undoubtedly be more settled and I am ready to embrace the challenges involved.

May I put my name down for this one in 2018. It was full before I get my name on the list for this one! A marble cabachon, the first I made, would look great.

I learnt so much about both my iPhone camera and my SLR camera that I had no idea even existed. Nick is a great teacher and a wealth of knowledge, I am looking forward to Photography on location to extend my knowledge even further. Thank you for offering such a great range of classes Dani.
